About

The idea of making light fixtures came to me when I discovered the 3D ceramic printer at 8FABLAB in Crest. I learned about design, working with clay in 3D printing, and creating lampshades. I discovered the many possibilities available to me to create unique objects, at the crossroads of different techniques. Thus, I developed a universe of my own that I continue to explore.

My name is Anne-Sophie Aimé ,
and I design lamps by combining several artisanal techniques. Each lamp is carefully made, from design to completion, with the aim of bringing a unique and warm touch to your interior.

What deeply inspires me are organic and sculptural forms,
especially those that I discovered in the Ideal Palace of the postman Cheval .
This place, with its stones and fantastic structures, has marked my imagination and still influences my creations today. Each lamp that I design is thus a unique piece, both functional and artistic.

My creative process begins with the design of the lamp base , which I imagine and then 3D print. I like to explore the shapes as well as the mixtures of clays that I use. Each pottery keeps a raw aspect so that the natural material and the fine details of the 3D printing are highlighted.

I choose fabrics for the manufacture of each lampshade , always ensuring that they reflect the harmony of my creations. Finally, I take care of the electrical assembly myself, thus guaranteeing a piece entirely created by hand.

Close to nature and natural materials , I favor elements
authentic and durable. I like to take the time to create pieces that last , where every detail counts. A lamp requires an average of six hours of work , during which I escape into my creative universe.
It's a painstaking process, but one I love.

Dreamer and passionate , I like to imagine objects that bring both warmth and beauty to those who welcome them into their homes.
